Methods of Payment

Each term the official payment due dates are published in the current class schedule. Payment in full or approved alternative payment arrangements listed below need to be in place by the due date. Your amounts due are available on the MyCCA portal after you register for classes. You are responsible for knowing your amounts due and making payment.

1. Start a Payment Plan
   If you are unable to pay in full by the posted drop date (census date), you will need to set up a payment plan to avoid having a Finance Hold placed on your account. NBS payment plans are available for all students through MyCCA. Use of an NBS payment plan includes an enrollment fee, currently $33 per semester and subject to change. Payments can be made by checking/ savings account, Visa/MasterCard, or Discover. 2. Prefer to Pay in Full?
   Students who want to pay all at once instead of creating a payment plan can pay online or in person.
   
   To Pay Online
   Log in into MyCCA student portal at www.ccaurora.edu/MyCCA
   Click on the Pay/View Bill icon in Student Tools
   Click on "Make a Payment" in the left sidebar
   Checkmark the semesters balance you wish to pay, click on the Checkout button at the bottom of the page, and follow the prompts.
   
   To Pay in Person
   Payments can be made in the form of cash, checks, or debit/credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).
   CentreTech Campus: Administration Building, 2^nd Floor, Cashier’s Office
   Lowry Campus: West Quad Building, Lowry Student Services (Please note that the Lowry Campus has limited operating hours.  There is a payment drop box available for use when the office is closed.)
3. College Savings Plans- 529 Savings Plans or Private Scholarships: All 529 Plans and private scholarship checks should be made payable to Community College of Aurora and include the student name and ID number

4. VA Benefits: If you plan to use VA benefits to pay your student account, visit our Military & Veteran Services office for additional information and to get started. You can also find more information at: https://ccaurora.edu/admission-aid/financial-aid/office-of-the-cashier/#military.
5. Third Party Sponsorship: Third party sponsor students are students who have their tuition paid for by a third party, such as an employer, a high school or another agency. A Third Party Authorization Letter must be received by the Cashier’s Office each semester. All Third Party Authorization Letters must include the following:
   • Name and Contact Information for the Third Party Sponsor
   • Name of Student and which term is to be paid
   • Approval of total amount of tuition and fees the sponsor will pay
   • A FERPA Release Form signed by the student

6. Financial Aid: Once you have applied for financial aid, it can take several weeks to process your award. While your financial aid award is being processed, set up a Payment Plan. If the student has received disbursement of financial aid award, amounts are subject to adjust to reflect the updated enrollment status.
