EDU 2552 Apprenticeship Inquiry and Purpose-Driven Learning

3 Credit hours 60 Contact hours

Focuses on the principles and practices of inquiry-based practice and Purpose-Driven Learning (PDL). Topics include student engagement in real-world problems, defining clear purposes for projects, and enhancing student efficacy and agency in determining project direction and outcomes. The course emphasizes an asset-based approach to planning instruction as a core equity-focused practice, exploring individual and small group teaching strategies and foundational assessment and feedback practices.
