Metro State CIS Transfer, A.A.S.
Degree is designed to prepare students for solving strategic business problems by designing computer based information systems. Workers in this field assist in planning, coordinating, and facilitating the computer related activities of businesses. They help determine both technical and business goals with top management and make detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals. This requires a strong understanding of both technology and business practices. This degree program is the result of an articulation agreement with Metro State University, which allows students to complete 62 credit hours at CCA, and continue on to Metro for a degree in Computer Information Systems.
Please note: Although a D grade in general education coursework may allow graduation at CCA, the degree may not transfer in whole should the student earn a D in any coursework including general education. Questions, please see your Pathways Advisor.
