Digital Filmmaking Certificate

The Digital Filmmaking program provides students with hands-on experience in the creative and technical processes of film and media production. Students develop skills in writing, planning, producing, and completing digital media projects while working collaboratively in professional production environments. Coursework explores narrative storytelling, acting, directing, screenwriting, producing, creative expression, professional practices, and contemporary approaches to digital media and motion picture production. The program prepares students for entry-level opportunities in film and media production, further study in filmmaking and related fields, and pursuing careers as independent filmmakers.
