CARE Team (Conflict, Assessment, Resources and Empowerment)
The CARE Team’s purpose is to provide a cross-functional, multidisciplinary point of contact for members of the college community to share student behaviors of concern.
The team will act promptly to follow-up with the individual initiating the report, determine if there are any additional warning signs or reasons for concern (i.e., student code of conduct violations), and meet with the student to develop a plan. Our intent is to be caring and preventive.
We
encourage you to contact the team if you have concerns about student behavior you
have observed in your classroom or other locations on campus. There is an
online referral form available for your use www.ccaurora.edu/care-report.
