HPR 179 Seminar

Provides students with an experiential learning opportunity to examine a global health issue. The focus of this course is the impact that communicable diseases continue to have around the world. Students look at the biology of the disease and then delve into the social and personal implications of addressing a deadly pandemic. It employs curriculum integration to enhance English language acquisition from various disciplines.

Prerequisite

Acceptance into the ESL Healthcare Bridge Program.
