FVM 1003 Pre-Production I

Provides an introduction to professional film production with an emphasis on safety and social responsibility in filmmakiing. The course explores film roles, responsibilities and best practices within preparation and production phases, as well as the basics of short form story structure and script format. Additional opportunities in budget management, communication, field observation and short script analysis will be provided.
Prerequisite
Acceptance into the Film School AND successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in
ENG 1021 (with a grade of C or better) or equivalent assessment score.
